IvySkin case marketed toward reception issues
Two iPhone cases have been announced today by SwitchEasy and IvySkin. SwitchEasy's model is a new version of the Nude, now designed for the iPhone 4. The case is 1mm thick, and made of polycarbonate with a high-gloss finish. Access points are provided for the iPhone's buttons.
The Nude ships with two anti-static screen guards, a microfiber wipe and a squeegee guard applicator. It also features two headphone and two 30-pin port connectors. It is available in several shades -- including clear, black, white, pink, yellow, purple, red, and aqua -- and currently shipping for $20.
IvySkin has launched its first iPhone 4 case, the Reception Case. The design consists of a clear, thin polycarbonate shell, measuring .6mm on the back and .8mm on the sides. The name comes from its marketing angle, as it is said to prevent skin contact with the antenna band. In at least some circumstances this can cause reception problems, leading to signal drop or loss.
The Reception Case ships with front and back anti-scratch screen guards. It is slated to ship next week for $15.

Very attractive iPhone 4 cases...
Relatively inexpensive, good for protecting your iPhone investment and possibly improving overall signal reception. Stop your whining and buy one before filing a class-action suit.
