updated 04:25 pm EDT, Tue July 6, 2010

Five themes in total

AKVIS has updated five of its photo editing tools with 64-bit support, while five new iWeb themes have been released by iWebTemplate.

AKVIS has posted updates for five of its photo editing applications, which include Enhancer 11.5, Noise Buster 7.5, Coloriage 7.5, ArtSuite 6.5 and Magnifier 3.5. The patches address a variety of bugs and add full 64-bit support, thereby improving compatibility with Photoshop CS4 and CS5. The tools let users enhance detail, reduce noise, modify colors, resize images and apply artistic effects. Upgrades are free for registered users; new customers can buy the titles as standalone apps or as plug-ins for Photoshop/Photoshop Elements.

iWebTemplate outs five new themes for iWeb

Five new themes for Apple's website construction tool, iWeb, have been released by iWebTemplate. These include Blue Style, Shining Star, Greenish Style, Tango and Developer, each with desktop and iPhone versions. The themes also include 11 templates apiece, allowing users to quickly set up different sections of a site such as a welcome page, a photo gallery, a blog and more. Within desktop formatting is a "Choose Device" template, which lets visitors pick between desktop and mobile sites. The iPhone format features an optimized resolution along with proportionately larger fonts and images. All of the themes are available on iWebTemplate's website for $10.
