Extends promos for one month
People hoping to get an iPhone 4 in the near future may be able to get one from Radio Shack as soon as this weekend. The retailer launched the device on Thursday with a comparatively low amount of stock, leaving even people who pre-ordered an iPhone without one in some cases. New shipments should come in as early as the weekend, the company says, and be replenished throughout July.
Because of a disappointing launch, Radio Shack also says it is extending several promotions by a month. Until July 25th, people buying an iPhone 4 will get a $20 accessory credit, and eligibility for the Trade & Save program; under the latter, people can trade in an iPhone 3G for $100 in credit or a 3GS for $200. The company's iPhone 4 accessory bundles will also continue to be available.

"Comparatively low amount of stock" is an understatement. The Radio Shack I stopped at received none, and told me that only one Radio Shack in the entire metro area received any at all. The quantity of phones that one store received? Two.
