Apps optimized for new display, background ops

Slacker and Twitter have updated their respective iPhone apps to take advantage of iOS 4 capabilities. Slacker 2.1 now allows users to listen to streams in the background while using other applications. The latest version also enables mobile station caching and several other minor improvements.

Twitter for iPhone 3.0.1 is also compatible with iOS 4, adding support for quick app switching. The interface has also been optimized for the iPhone 4's 960x640 display resolution.

Slacker and Twitter are both available from the App Store as free downloads.
