Sync files via iTunes
Ecamm Network has launched PadSync, a new application that provides file-synchronizing between both a Mac and iPad. Programs such as Pages, GoodReader, Numbers, and Keynote can be used to share files with the Mac, and do so via the iTunes file sharing feature. The PadSync works by mirroring files on the iPad and sending them to any Mac connected through a USB cable. Features include drag-and-drop support for files, and automatic file-sharing capabilities.
When previewing files that will be synced to the iPad users can browse through thumbnails, open media files, and edit documents. The software is designed to work with any iPads and does not require any alterations to the iPad’s operating system. Additionally, all saved changes with the program are altered in the iPad in real-time.
PadSync is compatible with Mac OS X 10.6 or higher as well as iTunes 9.1 or later. It’s available as a free downloadable demo, or the full version that’s priced at $10.
