HP outs latest drivers for Officejet 6500
HP has released a Mac OS X driver update for its Officejet 6500 All-in-One Printer. The driver update applies to both the standard and wireless editions of the printer and helps to ensure that all of the printers functions continue to operate under the latest versions of Mac OS X. The HP Officejet 6500 is boasted as an economically friendly printer that consumes up to 40 percent less energy than a color laser printer, but can deliver comparable savings in costs per page. HP also claims that its low-cost printer can match laser printer speeds with up to 7 pages per minute when printing black and white, and by using ColorLok technology, can produce more vivid colors, and less smearing.
