Redesigned user interface, scheduled playlists
Plyxim has introduced v2.0 of Exibia, a utility for uploading and scheduling stills and QuickTime-compatible videos through a central server. New to the program is a redesigned user interface, the ability to create and schedule video playlists, and complete web-based administration of all program settings. Support has also been added for bulk-uploading videos, and creating thumbnail images for clips via a new tool.
Other v2.0 features include options for repeatedly scheduling videos by day, week, or month, and a "default playlist" that allows continuous looping when there is no scheduled content. A description box can now be used to identify uploaded videos or playlists, and a command has been added to stop a scheduled playlist or video.
Exibia 2.0 is compatible with Mac OS X 10.4.2 or higher, and priced at $700 under a single-user license. People who buy Exibia 1.x from now until the end of June can receive a free upgrade.
