Apple allows Canadian iTunes gift cards to work for apps

Canadian policies finally revised
Apple is reportedly allowing customers to use Canadian iTunes gift cards to purchase apps. The move reverses a long-standing policy that had prohibited Canadians from using their gift cards to purchase content other than music, movies, and videos.
iTunes gift cards are currently available in denominations ranging between $15 and $100, available at many retailers such as Walmart and Apple's own retail stores.
Apple has yet to officially acknowledge the change in terms. It remains unclear if the company plans to change similar restrictions in other international markets.

iTunes Logo
Just wondering why Apple is still using the current iTunes logo. The iTunes Store has nothing to do with Physical CD's. Just wondering.
