CrossOver Games 9.0 adds profiles, new interface

Supports StarCraft 2, ST Online, new Steam UI
CodeWeavers has launched CrossOver Games 9.0, a sibling to its recently-released flagship virtualization app. Unlike the basic CrossOver, Games is tuned for performance, making it less stable but more likely to provide better framerates. Version 9.0 incorporates a revamped interface, and is said to be "much faster" at bottle creation and manipulation.
More critical still is a new game installation process, built around the concept of compatibility profiles; this allows people to add or customize support for games not officially recognized by CodeWeavers. The software should now also support Valve's new Steam interface, and Star Trek Online, as well as the StarCraft 2 beta. CrossOver Games costs $40, and requires an Intel Mac with Mac OS X 10.4.
