Convert DVD and Blu-ray movies
Pavtube Studio has added to its line of video conversion software with the release of iMedia Converter for Mac. The program works as an audio and video conversion tool capable of ripping DVD and Blu-ray movies. The conversion process is claimed to maintain all aspects of a movie including commentary, menus, titles and ads. When working with high-definition videos, users can compress or recode the data into other formats without losing HD resolution. Support is also included for recorded TiVo shows and animated GIF images.
The utility allows users to merge files together or trim clips, while enabling batch conversion for large numbers of files. Various water marks can be added to video clips using an integrated editing function, which allows users to input either text, images or video watermarks. Presets are available for a wide range of devices, such as the iPad, iPhone, Apple TV, PS3, and the Xbox 360. Lastly, the program can be used to convert media for use with popular editing software such as iMovie, Final Cut Express, and Final Cut Pro.
Pavtube iMedia Converter is now available directly from the company for $65.
