PC offers aluminum chassis with 3 fans
Digital Storm has introduced the Assassin, the latest gaming PC in the company's Black OPS series. The system features a chassis designed for vertical heat dissipation, aided by three 180mm fans and a liquid cooling system which draws heat from the processor, motherboard chipset, and power system. The company claims the combination of cooling technology is capable of enabling overclocks past 4.4GHz.
The basic configuration integrates an Intel Core i7 930 quad-core CPU running at 2.8GHz, with 6GB of RAM and a single 500GB hard drive. Graphics acceleration is provided by a single NVIDIA GeForce GTX 470 card with 1.2GB of dedicated memory.
Options on upgraded packages include a range of Core i7-series CPUs up to the hexa-core 980X Extreme Edition. Customers can also add a GeForce GTX 480 GPU, multiple hard drives, up to 12GB of RAM, upgraded cooling systems, and a multitude of other customizations.
The Black OPS Assassin is now available directly from the company, with basic configurations starting at $2387.
