Pure bringing three digital Internet radio to US
Pure on Monday announced it will bring three of its Internet-connected radios to North America on July 1st. This includes the Evoke Flow, the Oasis Flow and Siesta Flow. The Evoke Flow has an auxiliary input and can accommodate an add-on speaker or an iPod dock.
It has one 3-inch full-range speaker that gets a continuous 7W of power. An OLED display with 128x64 resolution lets users see the station they are listening to. Wi-Fi and an FM tuner are integrated.
The Oasis Flow is meant for the outdoors, as it has a weatherproof, splash resistant and rugged aluminum case and rubber seals. It has a built-in rechargeable ChargePAK battery and a full-range 4-inch speaker with 10W of continuous power.
The third and final new product to arrive at the start of July is the Siesta Flow, an alarm clock. It gets a 128x64 resolution LCD display, FM tuner, Wi-Fi and the ability to stream media when connected to a UPnP server or computer running UPnP server software available to registered Lounge users. It sports two speakers with a total power output of 4.6W, and a USB port that will power USB accessories.
Pure will bring its Sensia flagship product and Sirocco 550 digital sound system to North America at a later, undisclosed date as well.
The Evoke Flow, Oasis Flow and Siesta Flow will be priced at $229, $249 and $139, respectively.
