Apple seeds first Mac OS X 10.6.4 build to developers

New features still unclear

Corroborating earlier reports, Apple has seeded the first Mac OS X 10.6.4 beta to developers. According to iPhoneinCanada, build 10F37 focuses on graphics drivers, SMB, Time Machine backups, USB and VoiceOver functionality. The only known issue appears to be related to password requests when a user launches iChat.

Sources claim the early build does not yet include any notable new features or enhancements. Apple's time-frame for a formal release remains unknown, as the v10.6.3 update was launched at the end of March.
