updated 11:10 pm EDT, Mon April 19, 2010

Enterprise interface is now standard

SYPECom has launched Collaba 9.0, a new version of its online web application that provides a variety of communication and collaboration tools, such as multimedia chat, an address book, and a bookmarks organizer. Users can also access both public and private forums, or customize a forum using the integrated permissions system. With the latest release dozens of improvements and bug fixes have been added, including a new "Day View" within the calendar, and pre-configuration support for Mozilla SeaMonkey.

Other new options within the update include customizable settings for the default welcome page, and an undelete option for calendar layering. Additionally, the programs interface is now standard and includes graphical enhancements. An "External Clients" information panel has also been added.

Collaba is compatible with Mac OS X 10.2 or higher, and ranges in price from $50 for the Bronze Edition to $400 for the Gold Edition; Open Server prices can only be obtained through request. Aside from the full product, the company also offers a downloadable trial version of the Open Server, as well as a free demo account for the Collaba software.
