Exact details stay hidden following delay
Three international phone carriers have announced new plans for the iPad, a report observes. Vodafone says it will carry the 3G version of tablet in at least five countries: Australia, Germany, Italy, Spain and the United Kingdom. Pricing details should be available towards the end of May, even though Apple has said international pricing should first become available on May 10th.
O2 has likewise said it will reveal prices for the UK towards the end of May; Orange should make an announcement in the same timeframe, but it has not identified target countries. Apple is delaying the international release of the iPad by a month, citing a supply crunch caused by US demand. Shipments of 3G iPads to the US, due later this month, should be unaffected.
