iPhone 4.0 already jailbroken, public release forthcoming

Unlocking may prove greater challenge
The beta iPhone 4.0 firmware has already been jailbroken, according to claims. An updated hack was reportedly developed within hours of the firmware's release, and the keys used have been made public. The process has only been tested on the iPhone 3GS so far; a brief demonstration video can be seen below.
The hack's creator, "iH8sn0w," says he is working on a public version of the jailbreak. Because iPhone 4.0 is still in beta however, an altered technique may be needed to crack the final firmware. It may also be sometime before the firmware is unlocked for use with other carriers, as this involves detouring around any baseband changes which may have been implemented.

They should just stay quiet until it is released. Otherwise Apple's just going to break this hack before it is released anyway.
