Based on latest TV run
The BBC has announced plans for a brief series of Doctor Who games, which should be compatible with both Mac and Windows systems. Doctor Who: The Adventure Games will consist of four "interactive episodes," to be released over time in a scheme similar to that used by Telltale. The first episode is slated become available for download in June.
The games are being developed by Sumo Digital, perhaps best known for titles like Virtua Tennis 2009 and several versions of OutRun. Players will explore 3D environments and solve puzzles; beyond this few gameplay details are known. The episodes will have voiceovers from the TV show's cast, along with music scored by series composer Murray Gold.

WOOT!
Doctor Who is a terrific show (and the new guy looks very promising) and these downloadable games (which I believe will be FREE) are written by "regular" episode writers James Moran and Phil Ford.
Very smart of them to offer the first one just as the current season (which started April 3rd in the UK and will debut on April 17th in the US and Canada) winds down in June.
Anyone here who's not already a Doctor Who fan, its time for you to get a new favourite show. If you're in North America, check out "The Ultimate Guide" and then the new season opener "The Eleventh Hour" on either BBC America (USA) or Space (Canada) on April 17th, check local listings for times.
