Keynote available as video podcast

Apple has posted a video podcast of its April 8 special event, which focused on a variety of new features introduced with iPhone OS 4.0. The upcoming firmware will finally enable multitasking, enabling iPhone users to simultaneously run several applications. Users will also be able to take advantage of additional features such as gift apps, playlist creation, video tap-to-focus, and 5x digital zoom.

The iPhone OS 4 developer preview has also been released, allowing devs to begin exploring the list of over 1,500 new APIs. The firmware update is expected to launch sometime this summer for the iPhone and iPod touch, while the iPad version will be delayed until the fall.

The event stream is now available in Apple's Keynote listing in the Podcast section of iTunes.
