Supports converting audio settings

Digital Heaven has launched a new version of its media import utility for Final Cut Pro, Loader 2.0. The software is used to streamline the process of importing music and sound effects, as well as graphics or movies into the Final Cut Pro media editing application. With the latest release, support has been added for converting various audio settings such as sample rate, bit depth, and mono/stereo configuration. Additional compatibility is also included for converting any audio file regardless of its original file type.

One of the major changes is the ability to set the destination for imported items as well as support for options such as “Named Bin”, were new files get added to an existing bin, “Top Level of Project”, or Timestamped Bin”. The “Named Bin” option however is only available when used with Final Cut pro 7 or higher. Additionally, users can now remove original files by holding down the command key while dropping items into the Loader window.

Loader 2.0 is compatible with Mac OS X 10.4 or higher and Final Cut Pro 6.0.2 or later. A free trial version is currently available from the company’s website with the full version priced at $80.
