New Security Case keeps iPad locked inside

RadTech and NewPCgadgets have both launched new protective cases for the iPad. Gelz is the new form-fitting silicone case from RadTech, which is designed to guard the iPad from scrapes and scratches while still providing full functionality. The outer casing is made to help enhance the users grip while transporting, and enables users to peel back the bottom portion in order to dock the device. Colors for the Gelz case include Frost White, Black, and Purple.

NewPCgadgets’s Security Case for iPad is a sleek black leather case that’s form-fitting and allows users to lock their device inside. It features a three digit combination lock that keeps the iPad firmly within the case and helps protect privacy. The case is also designed to provide full access to ports and allows users to charge the device while it’s inside.

In addition to RadTech and NewPCgadgets, Griffin Technology has also released a new line of iPad accessories, starting with the A-Frame multi-position tabletop stand. The new heavy aluminum stand allows users to set up their iPad in either a portrait or landscape view, and is designed to accommodate for iPad’s equipped with a Griffin flexible hard-shell case. It offers a non-slip rubber cradle that helps hold the iPad in place, and provides simple access to the devices dock connector for charging or syncing purposes.

Apart from the new stand Griffin has unveiled updated iPad versions of its PowerBlock AC wall charger and PowerJolt DC charger. The PowerBlock charger now provides a 2.1-amp capacity for safe iPad charging, and can be used with any 100V-240V AC outlet. It features a detachable cable that can be used as an extra iPad connector cable, along with a green LED indicator that helps users know when the device is connected properly. The PowerJolt offers the same 2.1-amp charging circuitry as the PowerBlock, and is equipped with built-in self-resetting SmartFuse technology to prevent the need of replacing fuses.

Lastly, Griffin has also announced that several of its previously mentioned iPad accessories are now available, including the Elan Passport, Elan Sleeve, Jumper, and the Screen Care Kit for iPad.

Prices for the new iPad cases include $25 for the Gelz and $45 for the Security Case. The new Griffin tabletop stand is priced at $50, while the PowerBlock charger goes for $30 and the PowerJolt for $25.

    iPad Pedestal Base

I was looking for a base for my iPad. The one that I found was at newPCgadgets called the iPad Pedestal Base. It gives my iPad a high-tech look which I really love and it makes it much easier to use. Just a note to let other new iPad owners know about.
