Onwers manual said to be interactive
Hyundai has announced that its flagship Equus luxury car will include a free iPad for every buyer, according to Leftlane News. The offering will not serve solely as a free promotional add-on, as the car manufacturer also plans to load the iPads with the entire owners manual rather than including a standard print version.
"Many will respond positively to the inclusion of an iPad, not because they needed or planned to buy one, but simply because it is topical and cool," said Coyote Insight analyst William Matthies.
Hyundai America CEO John Krafcik claims the company's iPad content will be interactive, although further details have yet to be disclosed. The full-size luxury car boasts several other tech features including a 608 watt, 17-speaker audio system and LED headlamps.
The Equus is scheduled to arrive in the US market sometime this fall, with prices ranging from $50,000 to $60,000 depending on configuration.
