Netflix iPad app offers streaming video, queue management

App requires unlimited membership
Confirming earlier reports, Apple has approved and listed the Netflix iPad app. The native app allows subscribers to watch streaming TV shows and movies in the device's full-screen video player. Pause times are saved to the individual accounts, allowing users to begin a movie on their TV or computer and automatically resume from the same spot through the iPad interface.
Along with the streaming capabilities, the iPad app offers many of the same basic functions as the company's website. Users can browse movies, manage the queue, or read and write reviews, without leaving the iPad interface.
The Netflix iPad app is now available as a free download from the App Store. Users must have a Netflix unlimited membership.

What about iPhone/iPod Touch?
I don't understand why we're seeing iPad exclusive apps like this that have no reason for not being on iPhone/iPod Touch. ABC's player and Hulu soon will be like this as well.
