updated 09:20 pm EDT, Thu March 25, 2010

TradCase and TradDuo hardwood cases

Skydda gas introduced two new hardwood cases for the iPhone 3G and 3GS, TradCase and TradDuo. Each of the cases are created from a single block of hardwood and finished with a hand-applied polish. The design wraps around the iPhone to guard against bumps and scratches. It also provides full access to the dock connector, camera, ring switch, and headphone jack. The cases also offer integrated wooden buttons that connect with the volume control and power button.

The TradCase comes in three different models produced from a solid block of cherry, walnut or teak. TradDuo is made from two different species of wood combining maple with either walnut or cherry. Each case is capable of fitting the 8GB or 16GB iPhone 3G, as well as the 16GB or 32GB iPhone 3GS. Both designs measure approximately 4.75 x 2.63 x 0.52 inches, while weighing roughly 0.46oz.

The new cases are currently available for an introductory of price $45 for the TradCase and $55 for the TradDuo. After the sale, the cases will return to their regular respective prices of $60 and $70.
