Optimized for Snow Leopard
Intego has announced Washing Machine 2, an upgrade to its file cleanup software for web browsers. The app is designed to help protect the user’s privacy by removing cache and cookies from applications that access the internet, as well as prevent slow internet browsing due to too many stored files. Washing Machine 2 has been optimized for use with the Snow Leopard operating system, and allows users to clean up five different types of items including bookmarks, caches, cookies, download histories and browsing histories.
Additional features include a “cleanlists” function that stores items users want to remove, along with a “smart cleanlists” option which is designed to clean files based on customizable conditions. Aside from web browsers, Washing Machine is also capable of removing files from RSS readers, e-mail programs, and development programs, as well as from popular apps such as iTunes and Front Row.
Washing Machine 2 supports Mac OS X 10.5 or higher and is available as a free upgrade for all current users. A new version of the app is priced at $20, and protects up to two Macs.

With Private Browsing mode and a reset button included in every browser, utilities like this one are a pure waste of money. You don't need these whatsoever.
