Vaja teases first iPad cases

Vaja plans full leather sleeves, backs

Vaja has recently been teasing its early lineup of cases for the iPad. Its lineup so far will start with the Retro Slim Jacket; the Argentinian leather sleeve fully covers the Apple tablet and supplies padding along with a magnetic latch to keep the design simple. Although only one color is on display so far, it's likely Vaja will let buyers customize both the main color and the inset hue.

This and other iPad cases should be available in April. The Retro Slim Jacket should cost $120 and will take about 25 days of crafting to complete. Few details about the remaining lineup have been shown, but a teaser on the main Vaja page shows an upsized version of the company's iVolution flip case and confirms that it will be an option in the future.

    Love Vaja

For years I wanted a Vaja case. Finally was making enough $$ and ordered the one wrapping my 3GS. That was $120. Nice case though, and have not ever seen another.
