Tim Isted releases book for new Mac developers

A new book for beginning Mac developers has been released by Tim Isted. Beginning Mac Programming: Develop with Objective-C and Cocoa has been written in a manner that will allow readers with no previous coding experience to work with the programming languages. As readers work through the various chapters, they will learn how to use Objective-C and Cocoa to perform a variety of functions. The book also includes information on several free tools available online, along with tips on how to connect with other Mac developers. A copy of the book is now available from O'Reilly's online store for $35.

    Ah, memories...

I remember when this program was called Anarchie, back in the good old pre-OS9 days, back when there were actually ARchie servers you could access! Check out this blast from the past - http://support.primary.net/mac/more_mac/anarchie_ftp.htm

    This is particularly sad.

Not only was the office destroyed… It was a terrible tragedy:

Matthew Drayton, lead developer of Anarchie, formed Nolobe to make Interarchy. Anyway, perhaps I need to take a page from the Australian play-book (NSFW):
