Assign actions to various key combinations

Purple Ghost Software has launched Key Ace, a new hotkey utility that allows users to assign actions to various key combinations. Users can configure shortcuts for daily tasks such as opening browsers or controlling play, pause and stop functions on iTunes.

The app is run from a system preferences pane that can be used to customize hotkeys, organize group functions, or disable and enable the software. Groups of hotkeys can be set to only work with, or exclude, specific programs.

Key Ace requires Mac OS X 10.6 or higher and is currently available from the company’s website for $10.

    cheap

I've been a paying customer of QuicKeys for a long time, and always cringe at the cost of the thing. I love it, but it's still a lot of money, and includes so much functionality I don't need, and, honestly, doesn't seem to work right half the time.

    $10 for this sounds perfect.
