Security options added for exporting PDF files

Mode de Vie Limited has unveiled a new version of its Mac-based mind-mapping software, MyThoughts 1.1. The software allows users to create detailed brainstorming maps using a variety of text and images. New features found in v1.1 include improvements to the Auto Branch layout, expandable and collapsible branches, and a new function for panning large mind-maps. Additionally, the upgrade also provides a variety of exporting improvements and printing options.

New file sharing features enables users to export mind-maps or notes as Pages and Work documents, and includes new password security options for exporting to PDF format. Users can also use the OPML import and export function to now share files with iPhone mind-mapping apps. The previously mentioned enhanced printing options include new tools for adding text and images to both headers and footers.

MyThoughts 1.1 supports Mac OS X 10.5 or later and is available as a single user licence priced at $50, or a five-licence Family Pack which costs $70. A free-trial version of the MyThoughts can also be downloaded directly from the company.
