Neatworks v3 to ship end of March
RunRev has released a pre-Alpha version of its upcoming revMobile iPhone development platform, while Neat has announced that NeatWorks 3.0 will begin shipping at the end of March
RunRev has introduced the first pre-alpha release of its upcoming iPhone development platform. revMobile is designed to help teams reduce application development time, without having to sacrifice any functionality. Using the platform, developers can take advantage of many iPhone features including multi-touch, accelerometer output, Photo Library integration, and more. The current pre-alpha release is not able to create apps for the App Store, but that functionality will become available in future releases. Developers can sign up for the pre-release program for $800, while the final version of revMobile is set to cost around $1000.
NeatWorks 3.0 to ship at the end of March
The latest update to Neat's NeatWorks scanning software will begin shipping at the end of March. The new software was first displayed at the Macworld expo and promises to include support for US and Canadian tax categories and reporting. The update also includes the ability to create sub-folders, expanding the organization options for scanned documents. The software will be free to all existing users of NeatReceipts and NeatDesktop scanners.
