Tools near iPad launch deadline
Apple has released a fourth beta of the iPhone 3.2 SDK, available through the company's developer portal. Little information has yet leaked out due to Apple confidentiality restrictions, but it is known to be build 10M2144, and a 2.5GB download. Mac OS X 10.6.2 is required to run the software.
The kit is not meant for submitting titles to the App Store, but rather for pre-release work on iPad-compatible apps. Apple has relatively little time left to complete the software, as the first Wi-Fi iPads will launch on April 3rd, to be followed by 3G versions later in the month. All iPads should ship with iPhone 3.2 firmware by default.
