updated 04:20 pm EST, Mon March 8, 2010

Package geared for movie, TV and game producers

Native Instruments has announced that its Evolve Mutations instrument package has been updated with new content. Version 2 brings over 300 new sounds based on 2GB of samples which include instruments, rhythms, and ambiences. The update also offers a new "Trigger FX" sound processing utility that spreads changes such as saturation, panning and delay effects between different octaves on the keyboard.

The sound package is geared for movie, TV and game producers, with content organized into four categories. Rhythmic Suites provides percussive and tonal loops, with individual slices and keymapping, while Percussive Kits can be used to create original percussive combinations. Users can add suspenseful transitional elements with Stings & Transitions, or take advantage of instruments and pads contained in Tonality & FX.

Evolve Mutations 2 is now available directly from the company for $120, while a DVD bundle can be purchased for $170.
