A new audio enhancement plugin for Macs has been released by Bongiovi Acoustics, while Booq has announced the launch of a new line of iPad cases.
Bongiovi Acoustics has released a new Digital Power Station plugin, designed to enhance sound in iTunes. The software analyzes audio in real-time and attempts to improve the brightness, clarity, and bass response of compressed files. DPS can also compensate for differences in volume between songs, and enhance dialogue and sound effects for both music and videos. The Mac plugin costs $30; Windows users should have access to more universal software in coming months.
Booq launches new iPad cases

The stretchable skin fits around an iPad, but can also expand to accommodate other accessories.
