Keeps track of keystrokes and applications
ActyMac has launched a new surveillance utility for the Mac, DutyWatch Remote. The program monitors the activity of one or multiple computers, and has tools for capturing screenshots, spying on keystrokes and recording which applications are used. Keystroke and usage statistics can be viewed in real-time. Through an iPhone or iPod touch, people can access online reports.
A stealth mode prevents people from learning about the software. Other features include graphs and charts, and customizable alarms for when specific keywords are used. Reports display the amount of time an application was active, and if any data was exported from a program to HTML or simple text.
DutyWatch Remote supports Mac OS X 10.4 or higher, and is available in either a free beta version or as a complete product priced at $150. The corresponding iPhone app is a free download from the App Store.
