CS40s claim high comfort, but marred by fit
MacNN has reviewed two new products, beginning with ifrogz's EarPollution CS40 headphones. The pair use an over-the-ear design built with comfort in mind, as evidenced by their cushioning and light weight. Sound quality is also said to be high, with a good mix of treble and bass. The earpieces are argued to be too loose however, making them impractical unless a person expects to sit still most of the time.
Insectoid is a top-down space shooter, done in a traditional arcade style. The title is described as attractive and easy to learn, with support for both Intel and PowerPC Macs. The only criticism is said to be the game's dependence on keyboard controls, which could potentially wear down a keyboard after extended mashing.
The CS40s cost $40, and Insectoid is $20.
