Flux 2 adds new JavaScript capabilities

updated 02:50 pm EST, Thu February 25, 2010

Google hosted APIs integrated

The Escapers has announced that its web design application, Flux 2, has been updated with several new features. Users can now take advantage of Google-hosted JavaScript files directly from the software interface, without installing packages or downloading .js files. The Page Attributes sheet currently offers the jQuery and MooTools APIs, with additional content to be added in the near future.

The latest version expands support for HTML5 and CSS, including WebKit effects such as drop shadows and reflections. The company has also added an option for larger fonts, along with a tutorial screencast for creating an animated menu using jQuery.

Flux 2 is now available directly from the company for £50 (~$75).
