Overall stability and performance improved
Apple on Wednesday released an update to its photography software, Aperture. Version 3.0.1 improves overall stability and addresses a wide variety of issues. Bug fixes involve upgrading libraries from earlier versions, importing libraries from iPhoto, memory usage when processing heavily-retouched photos, facial recognition processing, and more.
The company claims to have improved several existing functions, allowing users to add undetected faces via the Add Missing Face button or print pages containing multiple images.
Aperture 3.0.1 is now available for existing users as a free download through Software Update or from Apple's support pages. New customers can purchase the software for $200, while upgrades from earlier versions are available for $100.[Download - 29MB]

Apple's Software Update didn't detect the update so I manually downloaded the file. When I try to run it I get an error message stating the "Aperture 3.0 or later is required to install this update."
Yes, I have Aperture 3.0 installed :-)
Uggh.
