Adds three extra levels
Aspyr says it has released a Mac port of The Force Unleashed: Ultimate Sith Edition, a Star Wars game originally developed by LucasArts. Players assume the role of the Apprentice, a secret prodigy of Darth Vader learning the Dark Side of the Force. The character slowly discovers more about his situation as gamers complete a series of missions from a third-person perspective.
Like its Windows counterpart, the Mac Ultimate Sith Edition includes three bonus levels. One is set at the ruined Jedi Temple on Coruscant, where the Apprentice must learn more about his own history. The second creates an alternate timeline in which the Apprentice replaces Vader, and is assigned to track and kill Obi-Wan Kenobi. The last level continues the alternate fiction, and has players destroy the Rebellion on Hoth, coming to blows with Luke Skywalker.
Other extra content includes new costumes and character models. The latter can substitute the standard Apprentice look with that of Luke or Obi-Wan, as well as C3PO, Jango Fett, Count Dooku or Anakin Skywalker. The game costs $40, and requires an Intel Mac with Mac OS X 10.5.8, 2GB of RAM, 26GB of hard drive space and a dedicated video card with 256MB of VRAM.
