Contains outdoor and indoor location features

Casio let slip that the location-aware variant of its Exilim EX-H10 would formally launch in October this year. A prototype of the Exilim EX-HG10 was shown at CES in January. The HG10 adds an internal GPS sensor and a 3D accelerometer for interpolating indoor location to the 12.1-megapixel sensor, 10x zoom lens, and 720p video recording capability of the original.

Its retail price is also expected to be about $400, or more than most common point-and-shoots but less than initially suggested at CES. A handful of other camera makers already have models ready or shipping soon with GPS, though few are making it as central a feature as on Casio's design. [via Photography Bay]
