Final Lost Cavern episode released
Steve Jobs received the highest Jim Henson Honors earlier this week, while Coladia released the final chapter of its Secret of the Lost Cavern iPhone series.
The fifth annual recipients of the Jim Henson Honors Awards, including Steve Jobs, were announced earlier this week. Apple's iconic CEO was awarded with the Celebration Honor, an award presented to an individual, organization or product that makes the world a better place by inspiring people to celebrate life. According to Lisa Henson, CEO of The Jim Henson Company, "Steve Jobs has continuously broken new ground with technologies that allow existing media in all forms to be easily enjoyed." Other honours include: The Jim Henson Community Honor, given to 826 National, a tutoring and publishing organization; The Jim Henson Creativity Honor, given to District 9 director Neill Blomkap; and The Jim Henson Technology Honor, awarded to the YouTube Symphony Orchestra.
Final episode of iPhone adventure game released
Coladia has released the fourth and final episode of its adventure game for the iPhone and iPod touch, Secret of the Lost Cavern: The Fate of Arok. The game takes place during the Paleolithic period of time and has players work through a series of puzzles in hopes of finding a long-forgotten friend. Secret of the Lost Cavern includes an original soundtrack, a variety of prehistoric characters to interact with, and highly detailed environments to explore. Secret of the Lost Cavern Episode 4 can be purchased in the App Store for $2, while Episodes 2 and 3 are available for $1 and Episode 1 is free.
