Systems support several RAID arrays

Sans Digital in Wednesday introduced several four-bay storage systems, the TowerSTOR TS4CT and EliteRAID ER104CT. The TowerSTOR model arranges four hot-swappable drives in a vertical enclosure, which integrates an LCD for viewing status and management information. Users can choose from RAID 0, 1, 10, 3 and 5 arrays, with connection options including USB 2.0, eSATA, and FireWire 800 or 400.

The EliteRAID system provides many of the same features as the TowerSTOR model, but in a 1U rack-mount housing. Data transfer speeds are claimed to reach up to approximately 200MB per second.

Both systems are available in configurations with total capacities ranging form 2TB to 8TB, or as an empty housing. Prices range from $440 to $1750 depending on the drive choices.
