Additional iWork support, interface improvements
App4mac has launched two new software updates, Presto 1.2 and Jump 1.2.1. Presto is designed to help type frequently-used phrases, based on abbreviations the user has chosen. It enables users to organize abbreviations into groups or attach them to a series of applications. In the latest version, compatibility has been added for iWork and image additions such as signatures or logos. The update also provides a series of user-interface improvements and bug fixes.
Jump 1.2.1 works as an alternative to Apple Dock, providing users with a different interface for launching applications, accessing folders, or opening documents. Apps and files can be added to the program using drag-and-drop functionality, and quick access can be achieved via customized keyboard shortcuts. The update provides a variety of bug fixes, along with fullscreen support.
Each of the apps requires Mac OS X 10.5, with prices set at $15, although current users can download the updates for free. Trial versions are also available directly from the company’s website.
