Benchmarking utility offers improved accuracy
Maxon Computer, a subsidiary of Cinema 3D creator Nemetschek AG, has released an update to its Cinebench benchmarking software. Version 11.5 is claimed to offer enhanced accuracy for testing the latest hardware configurations. Users can now benchmark systems capable of running up to 64 processor threads.
The utility is capable of running benchmarks that integrate aspects from users' common tasks within Cinema 4D, rather than an abstract set of tests. All relevant data is measured, with results compared across various systems for hardware evaluation.
Cinecbench 11.5 is now available as a free download for Windows and Mac platforms. [via Architosh]
