ASUS outs specs for T101MT EeePC netbook

The ASUS T101MT convertible netbook that was spotted at the FCC on Christmas Eve is now official, with full specs available on the company's website. As revealed back in December, the PC sports a 1.66GHz Intel Atom N450 processor and has a 10.1-inch LED-backlit multi-input touchscreen with 1024x600 resolution. Windows 7 is the default operating system, and can be had in Starter, Home Basic and Home Premium flavors. The base system has 1GB of RAM, while those who opt for Windows 7 Premium also get 2GB of RAM.

The highest-spec model also has a 320GB hard drive, or twice the size of the standard system, and either gets 500GB of cloud storage from ASUS WebStorage for one year. Standard across the range are Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 2.1 with EDR and a 0.3-megapixel camera. The battery is rated to provide 6.5 hours of life, and the system weighs just under 2.9lbs.

Connections include a VGA port, three USBs, an Ethernet jack and a headphone and microphone ports. A built-in multi-card reader can recognize SDXC cards up to 32GB in capacity.

Despite the product page, there is still no word on pricing or a release date for the convertible netbook. It will, however, be available in black or white.
