updated 11:30 am EST, Fri February 12, 2010

Over 100 new features added

Renewed Vision has unveiled an update to its lyric presentation and media playback application, ProPresenter. Version 4 delivers over 100 new features, including new template-based formatting, and the ability to import PowerPoint documents directly into the program. Users can now place multiple objects on the slide such as pictures, video loops or text boxes, and arrange them into any order. Also included is a re-designed view for displaying presentations, which lines all the items up in one long ongoing window.

Other features include custom video attributes, a customizable stage display output, and the ability to synchronize the library with either local storage drives or over a network. Another main change is the enhanced message window, which allows users to save multiple sets of messages for simpler access at a later date. Lastly, a few extra settings have been added for the programs live-camera functionality, such as support for initiating playback in its native aspect ratio, and an option that prevents users from turning on the live video feed.

ProPresenter 4 is compatible with Mac OS X 10.5.8 or higher; single-user licenses are priced at $400 and site licenses are available for $800. Current ProPresenter 3 users can upgrade to the new version for $200.
