TrendyDigital Design and Targus have both announced new protective cases for Apple’s iPad. TrendyDigital’s WaterGuard Waterproof Case features several mechanisms designed to keep out water, including a press-and-fold seal, double waterproof zipper, push-in buttons, and a touch fastener. It provides full access to the iPad’s keyboard while it's in the case, and also protects against dust, dirt, or sand. The case is made to fit the 16GB, 32GB, or 64GB versions of the iPad and comes with an adjustable strap for simpler transporting.
The latest is Targus’s line of iPad accessories is the new Fingerprint Resistant Targus Screen Protector with ClearView technology. The screen guard utilizes microscopic ridges and valleys in order to reduce fingerprints and smudges on the screen, and is also capable of reducing glare. In addition, it features an adhesive designed to prevent bubbles and peeling in order to help ensure a secure, close fit.
The new waterproof case is currently available for pre-order in either blue or purple and is priced at $20, while the fingerprint resistant case is not scheduled for release until April of this year.
