Lenovo to bring AMD-powered notebooks, AIO PC

Lenovo on Thursday introduced three new products for its North American range, including the G455 and G555 notebooks and C314 all-in-one desktop PC. All are powered by a choice of AMD processors, supporting both Turion or Athlon CPUs and will run on Windows 7. The G455 and G555 are expected to sport 14- and 15-inch displays, respectively, and will run on Athlon II or dual-core Turion IIs with ATI Radeon HD Mobility graphics standard.

The 20-inch C315 otherwise gets multi-touch support and will include a choice of AMD Athlon dual core processors, 4GB of memory and ATI Mobility Radeon graphics. Lenovo's IdeaTouch interface is part of the specs, with PowerCinema, AutoCollage and VeriTouch software. AutoCollage automatically displays photos in a unique collage-like slideshow, while VeriTouch uses a face-scanner to help users log in.

The Lenovo G455 and G555 notebooks ship in March and start at $450. The C315 will arrive in April, with prices beginning at $650.
