Device touts 3.2-inch AMOLED touchscreen

HTC's Legend smartphone has once again surfaced in the wild, now with a list of specs. The new photo, posted by Twitter user Xmoo, shows a form that appears to be slightly beefier than the HTC Hero. The device allegedly integrates a 3.2-inch AMOLED capacitive touchscreen with HVGA resolution. An optical trackpad is available for input, along with several buttons below the touchscreen.

The Legend offers the standard range of high-end smartphone features such as GPS, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, accelerometer, microUSB slot, and a 5-megapixel camera with LED flash. The Android OS is said to be powered by a Qualcomm MSM 7227 processor running at 600MHz. The Qualcomm chip is claimed to provide better performance than the Hero, particularly with graphics and video.

HTC has yet to formally unveil the Legend, although it is said to offer quad-band GSM and dual-band UMTS/HSDPA connectivity. Pricing and launch information remain unknown. [via Android Community]

Wow it looks like an iPhone and I'll bet it works a little like the iPhone as well when it works. Now I can get "almost an iPhone!" Can't wait. Who'd thought that someone would copy the iPhone? Brilliant move from HTC.

What? Why not just buy an iPhone and get a real one? Well because… em. ahem… Apple is really bad… uhhh… yea… Wow 5 megapixel. You know Apple could never do that!

Boy isn't this HTC Legend a GREAT PHONE?
