Tutorials now accessible from the interface
Ashlar-Vellum on Friday released Service Pack 2 for its Graphite 8 software for 2D and 3D wireframe drafting. The update adds support for several large-format printers, along with higher printing resolutions. Users can now access the company's tutorial content directly from the Graphite interface, while a variety of minor bug fixes and enhancements have also been included.
Previous versions of Graphite could only support up to 32,000 steps/pixels per inch in either direction. The limitation set a maximum paper size of 108 inches at 300dpi, however the size was reduced to 6.8 inches at 4,800dpi. SP2 addresses the paper size issue when using large-format printers.
Service Pack 2 is now available as a free update for all current users of Graphite 8, including Cobalt and Xenon 8 users.
