Beta adds video rotate and cropping features

Creaceed has released a new beta version of Elasty HD, its motion tracking and special effects application that was previously labeled Magnet 1.x. Elasty HD 2.0 is designed for video editing, with tools for distorting images and changing colors. The upgrade adds rotate, flip and cropping effects, as well as new image-stabilization technology with customizable levels of strength. The app now supports separate rendering for images and sound, allowing users to export the audio alone.

The new version also offers a retiming feature, enabling users to modify the video speed by accelerating or slowing down the movie frames. Scene breaks can now be initiated within the movie, with controls for deactivating or reactivating probes.

The Elasty HD 2.0 beta supports Mac OS X 10.6 or higher and is available in English, French, or German. New users can purchase the beta version for $40, or wait for the full version which will fetch $60. Current Magnet 1.x users can receive the update free of charge.
