Playlist editing improved with new options
Codewave on Friday released an update to its music- and video-server software, MyTunesRSS. Version 3.8 adds a variety of new features including a redesigned interface and configurable links to external sites, such as Amazon.com, for albums, artists and tracks. The search function has been expanded with new options for finding similar matches. Users can now tag albums, artists or tracks directly from the web interface.
The software allows users to remotely access their music and video collections, using a web-based interface accessible from any computer with an Internet connection and browser. RSS feeds and playlists can be created from albums, artists, genres or search results, while advanced options enable configuration of external Postgres and MySQL databases.
MyTunesRSS 3.8 is now available directly from the company for 15€ (~$20 USD). A free 30-day trial is also available.
